In the 2022 Summer, I interned at Rock TechX where I led the end-to-end design of a mobile photo cleaner from scratch. From the discovery stage to the delivery stage, I conducted competitive analysis, brainstormed with different stakeholders, constructed wireframes, created hi-fi mockups, iterated my design, wrote documents and conducted design QA to make sure the implementation of my design.
The exciting thing is that my design has been developed and will be shipped soon! Because I am still organizing the work I did, let us check out the design deck. Details will come soon.
For the real-world product, it is very important to consider if the developers can realize my design, so I went over my wireframes, iterations and high-fidelity design with engineers to make sure they can realize it and solicit their feedback.
Another important thing for designers is to make sure the engineers can implement what I have designed. Therefore I double-checked the design details with engineers and wrote the design documents for handover. At last, I conducted the design QA to record some issues and let engineers fix them before launch.
